Public Speaking

I am available to book for public speaking relating to autistic experiences. Like my consultation services, my bespoke talks are informed by both professional practice and lived experience. Previous speaking engagements include delivering lectures in university settings, such as presenting my Autistic Language Hypothesis.
Consultation Appointments

Book a consultation to receive advice relating to the autistic experience covering a range of topics as well as the Autistic Language Hypothesis (ALH). This service is useful to those who support autistic people in any capacity, and autism training programmes such as training delivered to staff in care homes, schools, and hospitals.
Signposting to Resources

I can provide resources and links if requested alongside consultancy to give an informed and comprehensive view of the topics discussed during consultation: including other autistic voices, autistic community perspectives, and research. If my knowledge is limited on a topic, I will signpost to resources that can accurately inform.
Testimonials

“I’m an SLT who just watched your seminar for the London Autism CEN. It was really powerful to hear the lived perspective of therapy and about your research. Thanks for sharing your work.”
– Speech and Language Therapist, London Autism CEN

“Rachel Cullen prepared and delivered a two-hour lecture on the Autistic Language Hypothesis to Psychology undergraduate students. Rachel was engaging and students and I as lecturer have learned a lot from the talk. We hope to have Rachel back in the future!”
– Psychology Lecturer, Canterbury Christ Church University

“I consulted Rachel to help me better understand my autistic loved one after I learned about their Autistic Pragmatic Language Hypothesis. Rachel is dedicated to finding what works for autistic people, and they have a wealth of experience, knowledge, and unique insight to share.
They were able to get to the heart of my difficulty in communicating with my loved one and quickly give me strategies to make things better, and they offered me a new perspective on the autistic way of being that I can apply in my relationship today.
They care deeply about helping bridge the empathy gap between autistic and non-autistic people, and I’m grateful for their work.”
